On Sunday, March 7th, the Palm Beach Support Group has its first meeting. Although there had, at one time, been a support group in that area, it has been dormant for many years. One of this year's TSA Florida Youth Ambassador selections, Jordan Bernstein, convinced his parents to rekindle the group. Seth and Rona Bernstein have been actively helping both the national and Florida TSA for several years helping to coordinate TSA conferences in the Palm Beach area.
National TSA President Judit Ungar, TSA Florida Chair Chris Brown, and TSA Florida board member Cindy Kurtz traveled to Delray Beach to participate in the inaugural meeting of this new group.
Pictured here with TSA President Judit Ungar is Jordan Bernstein. He is one of TSA Florida's two Youth Ambassador selections for this year. Jordan will travel with his dad, Seth, to Washington DC in April to participate in leadship training and TSA's Trip-to-the-Hill, where he will talk to members of Congress about the many issues involving TS. He will be joined on the Hill with Florida's other Youth Ambassador Nathaniel Ray.
